Rachel and her company, WOKEN, are making waves in career exploration. She is focused on fixing the alarmingly high disengagement and attrition rates for millennials. Instead, WOKEN will ensure every job seeker can confidently identify a career path they'll be excited by.

Rachel’s early professional experience was at Goldman Sachs in Operations and at Bridgewater Associates in HR. From there, she was trained as a coach at NYU and became a certified coach through the International Coach Federation. After this, she worked in HR Research at Aon Hewitt and attained her Technology MBA at NYU Stern. For the past 2+ years, she has been building WOKEN,  an online career exploration platform to coach professionals through the process of figuring out their ideal  career path. She is also a Professor of Entrepreneurship at Binghamton University, a Career Coach through the Flatiron School/WeWork, and a consultant for Columbia University’s Career Design Lab.

Regarding her experience with Corporate HR, Rachel’s focus areas are innovation, strategy and process alignment. Rachel understands the various limitations of the current HR landscape and the critical-yet-delicate interaction between technology and human capital. She ensures that organizations understand its human capital, both internally and externally, in order to create systems and processes that align with and support the goals of both the individual and the organization.
